A Call To Come And See

Dennis Ang is animated as he speaks of a new year and reveals his hope for 2019. It is not a resolution dreamed and declared in the dying moments of 2018 - it is a hope founded in faith and focuses on a tiny, weathered 119-year-old church in Krambach.

A Rose Equals Love

A rose equals love. Just ask John Parer. The OneLife Church pastor knows love is the key to transforming lives and our community and will gift 1500 red roses to men, women and children at Carols in the Park in Taree on December 9.

Faith Under Fire

Tears reveal the depth of feeling that Padre Daryll Moran holds for veterans. It is the suffering of servicemen who he fondly calls, ‘My Boys’ that informs and shapes his ministry with Forster-Tuncurry RSL Sub-Branch. He will contribute to 100th anniversary Remembrance Day services on November 11 and says the work of padres is valued by veterans and members of the Australian Defence Force serving in armed conflicts.

Packed With Love

Wide elastic bands strain to secure the lid on a shoebox that is weighty with tightly packed gifts. It is an Operation Christmas Child present and number crunching reveals our community has donated more than 22,000 boxes in 10 years. It is an impressive Christian ministry and this month, area manager Karen Reeman will manage her last collection campaign as she supports two new leaders to learn the ropes of the rewarding volunteer role.

A Celebration Of Love

Tears spill from the eyes of Dr Moheb Ghaly OAM as he stands in the St Mary and St Pope Kirolos the 6th Church in Cundletown. They are tears of joy and as they fall he speaks of love - his love for God, his love for St Pope Kirolos the 6th and his love for Fay Abdo, the woman he will soon wed in the beautiful church that he gifted to the Mid North Coast.
